TERMS & CONDITIONS

GENERAL, SHIPPING, CANCELLATION & RETURNS

Lodging an order and paying for it indicates that you have accepted the Terms and Conditions of our online service.

We do not ship your order until we have received payment in full for books and postage.

PRICES

All prices quoted are in AUD.
Adelaide Charity Books Inc has a GST concession and GST is therefore not included in the price of its books.
Postage does include GST

ACCOUNTS

You don’t have to have an account to order from us.

SHIPPING

We ship books by Australia Post, currently to Australian addresses only. We are looking at being able to ship to overseas addresses.

Please provide us with a safe delivery address. Australia Post policies will apply to those parcels delivered by Safe Drop.

If the parcel has been damaged in transit, please pursue the matter with Australia Post.

Post & pack charge is weight-based. The cost is AUD11 for up to 4.5kg of books for Standard Post delivery anywhere in Australia.
If the books you want total more than 4.5kg, you will need to create a new order for the additional weight.
If you wish to receive books by Express Post, please create your order and contact us so that we may bill you for the additional postage.

We do not send orders until we have received complete payment.

INSURANCE

Australia Post offers cover for Goods only up to AUD100 as part of the postage cost.
If your goods are worth more than this, you can choose to pay for extra cover for those goods, available at the checkout.

OUR TIMEFRAMES

We attend to our orders within one week of the customer placing the order.

We are unable to guarantee delivery times once we have posted the items.

CANCELLATIONS

You may cancel your order only if it has not been sent out.

Please contact us by email within 48 hours of placing your order if you wish to cancel.

You will be refunded fully for a cancelled order only if it has not been processed or sent.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Our book stock is all used, donated, recycled items. If the goods are not as they are described, or not as you have ordered, please contact us.

You are not entitled to a refund if you have simply changed your mind.
